I've never heard this track before, but today when i heard it i was like: damnnn.. very dope and creative.
This wasn't a big suprise to me, like Asher's verse was(although Asher's is still one to get goosebumps from)...
Cuz i already knew XV was dope as fuckkk..(it IS a very small verse though)

A minute with...: Dangarus.C

Yesterday i had a chance to meet up with 'Nation of Elzi's mastermind behind the boards.
Chris, also known as Dangarus.C, was real cool and took the time to answer some questions i had.:

M: How did you came up with the name 'Nation of Elzi'?:

C: Well i should start with the last word.. "Elzi"..it stands for Bestest hahaha on the urban dictionary but for us it means like alright ima lay it down.. just imagine urself in ur own zone outside this world u live daily in the moment u expierence when u really enjoying music or really totally focused in what u do and you see the world diffrent at that moment some call it high..

We from Nation of Elzi call it "Elzi"

M: Aight, dope man,. and how did you met Profetic and Rome?

C: I met Profetic while i was in a group called For the World.. and Rome i knew from way back and he was also a good friend from my best friend so we end up as good friends either.

M: Are there any plans for 'Nation of Elzi' in the double-0-9?

C: Alot! Perfomances, an Ep, and Neo soulfull hiphop music.

M: aight, that was the answer i was hoping for..

C: well good we wont let you down then

M: ahah niceee.!

M : Which artists do you look up to?

C: well i like music so alot artist producers and creators but on the real that really formed me are, A tribe called quest, Jay Dee, Pete rock, Slum village, and new cats like Pacific division, Flying lotus and Black milk

M: When can we expect the first 'Nation of Elzi' album in stores?

C: well if god wants it could be this year ,if not i hop next year but hey things can go fast so why not this year rightz.

M: Yeah exactly, and are you doing any other projects, besides 'Nation of Elzi'?

C: well im also busy on a beat production team called Aztexlabel and also doing different collabs with several artists like Sirngeti

M: now for the last question , can you describe the first AND the last time, you ever heard a track, closed your eyes and thought... damnn.. THIS is hip-hop.?

C: the first one i heard and gave me goosebumps was when i got introduced to a tribe called quest hearing the song Find a way... bananas.. i listenend it over and over again the last one i had almost the same feeling was Pacific division - Paper.

I guess the name already explains it....

Normally i'm not a big Asher fan.. or lets say, i never took the time to really listen to him.
But since i just deleted all my 20.000 tracks of my iPod, i've been forced to listen to some shit i would normally never listen to.
The mixtape starts of descent (typically Asher-ish) but the moment track 11 begins, all of that 'descent' shit is over, and it gets smashing. The track is produced by Hi-Tek and in my opinion the first verse bodied the second...
